Hardangerfjord - Route 13 between Hardangerfjord and Voss closed due to landslide

A part of route 13, the main connection between the Hardangerfjord region and the Voss/Flåm area, was damaged north of Granvin yesterday evening (27 April) and the road is closed (see map below). Vehicles under 3.5 tons can pass using a bicycle lane on the other side of lake Granvinsvatnet, organized as convoys (waiting time must be expected). Vehicles over 3.5 tons can not pass. Alternative routes via route 16 (Bergen – Voss - Flåm) and route 7 (Norheimsund - Granvin – Eidfjord). Route 572 between Granvin and Ulvik can not be used as alternative route.

As per today Statens vegvesen (Norwegian Public Roads Administration) do not know when it will be possible for vehicles over 3.5 tons to pass.
